Meet John Zachara
John Zachara has spent more than 30 years — and $6 billion+ in real-world project execution — inside the rooms where complex capital projects are built. He didn't just study IPD: he helped structure the first Integrated Form of Agreement (IFOA) project in healthcare in Chicago, giving him a practitioner's command of how these deals are designed, negotiated, and delivered.
John is the founder of The IPD Institute, where his mission is to reengineer construction to deliver project certainty — through collaborative contracting structures, Lean project flow, and the leadership frameworks that make IPD work in practice. An LCI Approved Instructor and active member of the Lean Construction Institute Chicago Community of Practice, John brings that same depth to every session of this series.
